Happy(ish) with the organic forms but the texture studies and texturing primitive forms probably need to be re-done...

Dynamic Sketching - Week 2 assignment

There was a bit more to get to grips with this week but we're still just getting started...

Freehand boxes and ellipses were the order of the day and I'm realising how important repetition is.  It's not enough to just say you've done the assignment, the real work starts in the practise you do outside of the assignment.

Currently I'm trying to fill 2 pages a day with warmup exercise, which I hope is starting to pay off.

In the meantime plenty of good and bad in my submission for week 2 but I'm pleased I got everything in on time.

Speaking of time, I can see I'm going to have to start managing mine better.  The workload along with my Perspective class as well means I have to be a bit more scientific about when I watch tutorials, do the assignments etc.

Still got my Perspective assignment to do this week and then I can start week 3 of dynamic sketching.

First assignments finished

I've posted the assignments I've completed for Perspective and Dynamic Sketching.

Not all that much to see yet, particularly on the dynamic sketching assignment, but the perspective assignment was a good way of getting back into Photoshop and getting used to the toolset again.
